Great product. But…

I live in Florida and live beachside which means lots of wind and debris that lands in our pool. I purchased a pool vacuüm first that really does its job well. Then I bought the solar skimmer, which also does a great job, but comes without the charger. That means you rely on the solar. I contacted the company to get the charger as I like to use my equipment as I need it ( not wanting to wait till the solar charge is complete).
I would have paid more to get it with the skimmer.
Just FYI, when you take the skimmer out of the water, tilt it up so the debris it collected does not escape.

Yes, it really works

The caveat is that it is not without flaws. Unless I missed something in the included pamphlet, I have 'questions/issues'. We are instructed to charge fully before the first use but are NOT to set the unit on deck surface in the sun to do so (page 13 of manual). Also, 'Charge the cleaner every three months to ensure optimal battery life' (page 12 in the manual). So, how is a full charge achieved? The F1 has a DC port but no charger is provided or available on the Wybot site (at least I couldn't find one). Would appreciate details on a DC charger to purchase or better yet, offer one on the Wybot site. Be really great if the charger from S2 pool cleaner worked on the F1 skimmer. Other than these issues, it really does the job. I have a lot of live oaks around my pool and have to empty the filter more than once but still less effort than manual skimming. All in all, a pretty slick product.
