Why is the machine I received wet? Has it been used by someone else?

The machine you received is brand new. Our machines undergo a pool test before leaving the factory to ensure that they function properly. Sometimes, during this test, a small amount of water may get inside the machine which can cause the machine to feel wet. However, you can rest assured that the machine has not been used by anyone else.

How Do Pool Vacuum Robots Work?

These vacuum cleaners use their onboard filtration and power supply to clean your pool. Some cleaners are cordless, while others have cords. Once you place your vacuum in the pool, it travels on the pool’s bottom and its walls to collect debris and clean the entire area. 

How long do pool vacuum robots last?

Since these vacuum cleaners are made from various electronics and parts, their lifespan depends on maintenance and the frequency of use. But on average, these machines can easily last up to five years, provided you clean them after every session. 

How often should I clean my pool?

This depends on how much debris has accumulated in your pool. A general guideline is to run it once or twice a week.

How do I clean the robotic pool cleaner?

To clean the robotic pool cleaner, you should remove and rinse the filter, brushes, and any other removable parts after each use. It is also recommended to deep clean the cleaner every few months.

Will my WYBOT work in a salt water swimming pool?

Yes, our WYBOT robots can be used in saltwater pools.

Overtime the saltwater can cause premature wear and tear to the robot's wearable components, therefore we recommend rinsing the robot with sweet water (tap water) after each cycle.

For optimal use and maintenance, the salinity levels should not be above 4,000 P.P.M.

Why can't the cleaner be charged on a covered outdoor deck?

We do not recommend charging the device outdoors due to the risk of battery catching fire caused by sun exposure. Although the deck may be covered, there are still restrictions on the temperature range for outdoor charging. We advise against general consumers charging the device outdoors.

In some areas, especially in hot and humid climates, outdoor charging may be more dangerous. Therefore, we recommend users to charge the device indoors and avoid exposing it to sunlight or high-temperature environments. Troubleshooting

The buzzer does not beep, or the impeller does not work when the cleaner is out of water.

Possible Reasons:
* Battery level is low. - Recharge the battery.
* Internal fault - Call customer service.

Why can I not connect my WYBOT to the app when it is cleaning the pool?

If your WYBOT is cordless, the WIFI and Bluetooth signal will disappear when the robot is in the pool. So, you need to set up the cleaning mode, clean path, or other running parameters before putting it into the pool.

If your WYBOT is corded, you need to check the power box or other module on the shore, to ensure it is working normally. If not, please ask the after-sale team for help.

Why does my WYBOT not clean all the pool, or clean my pool in a weird path?

The cleaning path varies for different shapes of swimming pools, and the cleaning performance also change in different surface materials of swimming pools. Before send out your cleaning parameters for your WYBOT, you should define your own pool in the APP, and choose it for current cleaning need.

When should I put my cordless WYBOT into the pool after setting all the cleaning parameters?

For the cordless WYBOT pool cleaners, there is no “start cleaning” button on the page. After customizing your cleaning need, just close the app and put the robot into the pool. At each setting, you will receive a toast indicating whether it is successful.

Why can I not have the battery level indication on the page?

Until now, only some robots support checking battery levels on the page. The robot itself may tell the current battery level through the LED lights after you power it on. We are developing this function for other robots.

Why can I not find my device?

The WYBOT connects to your App through the WIFI or Bluetooth, before searching for the robot, please enable your mobile Bluetooth and join the WIFI (recommend).

 What’s the best procedure for operating the robot and the App?

Turn on the WYBOT → Enable the Bluetooth of your mobile phone →  Define your pool on the “my pool” page →  Click “+” to search the robot  →  Choose your WYBOT name and add it to the list  →  Click robot image to set cleaning parameters →  select your swimming pool for cleaning on the right side of the page  →  choose cleaning mode, path, and others →  Close the App and put the robot into the pool.

How can I calibrate and upgrade the firmware of the WYBOT?

On your WYBOT main page, there is an “i” on the top. You can enter that page to start device calibration and enable the “automatic upgrading” function. If your WYBOT needs a firmware upgrade, you will see an alert on the main page. You can select it to start upgrading.
